Hi, I’m Alex. I am the solo entrepreneur behind The Wall Pickleball. Building this brand has truly been a passion project for me, and I am going to give you a peek behind the scenes of one of the most risky and exciting times in my life. I hope that this reminds you that you can do absolutely anything - just start!

I have zero experience in marketing, design, branding, manufacturing, or business. So, I am learning as I go - I still have no idea what I’m doing, but I am taking it step-by-step.

The flame design was the first one that I came up with, but the only problem - how in the world do I find someone to draw it out and design it for me? I had no idea what a vector was and where to even begin. I found a few freelance designers online and hired them to draw out the flames and turn them into a vector. I was so excited to receive the final drawings, and when they finally sent them over, they were nothing like what I had visioned. So, I decided that I had to do it myself. I spent months learning how to use design software and taking tutorials.

The next step was designing a logo. I reached out to a few branding and logo designers that I loved, but none of them got back to me. So, once again, I had to do my research and learn how to do it on my own.

I stayed up all night for weeks communicating with manufacturers. I chatted with just about every pickleball paddle manufacturer that I could find, both in the USA and international.

I work out of my bedroom in my apartment, and that is also where I keep all of the inventory.
